Privacy Policy
Effective September 1, 2026
This policy explains what we collect on ffatatx.com, why, and what you can do about it.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Storeyline Productions LLC, a Texas limited liability company doing business as First Friday Art Trail ATX ("FFAT," "we," "us," or "our"). You can reach us at howdy@ffatatx.com.
2. What this policy covers
This policy applies to ffatatx.com only.
Our online store at shop.ffatatx.com is a separate service running on Shopify, and it has its own privacy policy that Shopify maintains. Anything you do there — buying merchandise, registering as a vendor or food truck, sponsorship inquiries, musician submissions — is covered by that policy, not this one. We never see your full payment card details; those go directly to Shopify’s payment processors.
3. The short version
We collect an email address if you sign up for our newsletter, whatever you type into our contact form, and standard analytics about your visit. We use it to run a free monthly art event and tell people about it. We don’t sell your information. You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing us.
4. What we collect
Information you give us. Our contact form asks for your name, email address, phone number, and a message. Only the email address is required. Our newsletter signup form and the popup ask for your email address.
Information collected automatically. When you visit, our analytics and advertising tools record your IP address, browser and device type, general location inferred from your IP, the pages you view, how long you stay, and the site or link that sent you here. This happens through cookies and similar technologies.
We do not ask for, and have no use for, sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, financial account numbers, health information, or precise geolocation.
5. Why we use it
- To reply to messages you send us.
- To send monthly event reminders, vendor lineups, and merch announcements, if you asked for them.
- To understand which pages people read and how they found us, so we can improve the site.
- To measure our advertising and reach people who might want to come to the event.
If you give us a phone number through the contact form, we use it only to respond to your inquiry. We will not send you marketing text messages unless you separately agree to that.
6. Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it with the service providers who help us run the site, each of which handles it under its own privacy policy:
- Netlify hosts this website and processes our contact form submissions.
- Klaviyo manages our email list and sends our newsletter.
- Google Analytics tells us how the site is used.
- Meta receives data through the Meta Pixel, which we use to measure and target advertising on Facebook and Instagram.
- Shopify hosts our online store, which you reach through links on this site.
Because the Meta Pixel shares data with Meta for advertising purposes, some privacy laws may treat that as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, even though no money changes hands. Section 9 explains how to opt out.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
7. Cookies and tracking
This site uses cookies and similar technologies set by Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel. When you first visit, a notice appears letting you accept or decline them. If you decline, we don’t load either tool on your subsequent visits, and we switch them off on the page you’re currently reading. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie Settings link in our footer.
Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies through their own settings. Either way, blocking them will not stop you from using this site.
8. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. There is currently no industry or legal standard for how websites should respond to these signals, and we do not respond to them at this time. If that changes, we will update this policy. The controls in the next section work regardless of your browser’s Do Not Track setting.
9. Your choices
- Email: click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any message we send, or email us and we will remove you.
- Google Analytics: install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Analytics and advertising cookies: click Cookie Settings in our footer and choose Decline. This turns off both Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel for you.
- Meta Pixel, additionally: adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
- Everything else: email howdy@ffatatx.com and tell us what you want done.
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We will honor those requests regardless of where you live, and we will not treat you differently for making one. Send them to the address above and we will respond within a reasonable time.
10. Children’s privacy
Our event is family-friendly, but this website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
11. How long we keep it
We keep newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe. We keep contact form messages as long as we need them to handle your inquiry and for our records. Analytics data is retained according to the default retention settings of the tools described above.
12. Security
We rely on our service providers’ security practices to protect the information we collect, and we limit access to it. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.
13. Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page, and we will note material changes here. Continuing to use the site after we post changes means you accept the updated policy.
14. Contact
Questions, requests, or complaints about privacy can go to howdy@ffatatx.com.
