I grew up in Austin a city that shaped everything I believe about art, community, and what it means to belong somewhere. After studying Creative Media at Texas Tech, I spent two formative years vending at and later working inside the Charles Adams Studio Project in Lubbock, where I saw firsthand how creative spaces become genuine gathering places.

Watching art bring strangers together, spark conversations, and give a neighborhood its soul that experience never left me. When I returned to Austin, I felt what was missing. Castle Hill had been exactly that kind of place.

FFAT is more than an event. It's a commitment to the artists, makers, musicians, and neighbors who make Austin worth fighting for.
